Link has a limited inventory capacity. Initially, the number of available slots is highly limited, however, it can be increased throughout the game. This chapter will tell you how to quickly increase the inventory capacity in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
First stop, Hestu. Head to Kakariko Village from Duelling Peaks (this is the “natural” way most players will come to Kakriko). On the winding path that leads up from the river to Kakariko Village on the right hand side, you'll see this guy: His na. Upgrading your inventory in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for weapons, bows, and shields requires plenty of Korok Seeds and the help of the most adorable Korok around, Hestu. Hestu will increase your inventory in exchange for Korok Seeds. Pick the category and fork over the seeds. The required amount will increase each time, per category.
The inventory capacity limitation can be amended - go to the location indicated on the map to meet Hestu, a weird looking character in the shape of a tree. After you talk to him, you will start The Priceless Maracas side quest.
The task is very simple - all you need to do is head north, turn right towards a small gully and face a small group of enemies. Defeat them and jump on a platform and take the Maracas out of the chest. Get back to Hestu to complete your quest.
From now on, each time you bring him a Korok Seeds, your inventory capacity will increase. This is how it works:
- Give Korok Seeds to Hestu and he will ask which inventory space you wish to increase. You can choose between additional slots for your weapon, bow or shield,
- With each upgrade, the cost of Korok Seeds will increase by one. The first upgrade will cost one Korok Seeds, the next one two, and so on.
- There are 900 Korok Seeds that can be found in different locations; solve puzzles, pick up rocks etc.
One should remember that Hestu's location will change as you purchase new upgrades. After purchasing a couple of them, he will move to Riverside Stable, not far from Whistling Hill. After retrieving some more Korok Seeds, Hestu will travel to the Korok Forest, and he will remain there till the end of the game.
starting your adventure in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, you will have only a handful of hearth and low stamina. You can change it though. In this chapter, you will learn how to increase your health and stamina.
At the very beginning you will have just a couple of hearts and rather low stamina. In order to improve one of your parameters, you will have to find and complete mini dungeons known as the Shrines. Shrines and their locations will differ from one another - some dungeons can be completed in several minutes, while other will be long and end up with a boss fight. There are 120 such places in the game and after completing a Shrine, you will receive a Spirit Orb.

Take your Spirit Orbs to any of the statues - you can exchange four Orbs for one heart, or some additional stamina. When upgrading your parameters, remember that:
- You start the game with only three hearts and most of your enemies can easily eliminate Link. Thus, it is very important to increase your health as soon as possible. Just remember not to spend too many Spirit Orbs on that - it's far better to use food that can generate hearts temporary and master how to dodge and strike back,
- To gain one of the most important items in the game, you will need 13 hearts (not mentioning additional ones),
- Increasing your stamina is crucial - you will need it e.g. to reach important locations through climbing and swimming.
- To sum up, try to keep a balance between gaining additional hearts and increasing your stamina.

One should keep in mind that it is possible to exchange additional hearts for stamina points and vice versa. When you encounter the statue for the first time, a short side quest will begin and you will lose one heart. Don't panic - speak with the statue again and it will offer to give you back your heart or exchange it for stamina.
From now on, you can give Heart containers/Stamina Vessels to the strange creature. Each time the statue will give you 100 rupees. Whenever you decide that you want to improve your statistics, the statue will demand 120 rupees. Thus, to relocate Spirit Orbs, you will have to pay 20 Rupees. It's the only way to reset your previous decisions.
